Progeny Film Festival

Madeline Stewart proudly directed Virginia Tech's 22nd annual international film festival, Progeny, in fall 2025, doubling the audience from the previous year through her coordination of donors, live pre-show band entertainment, and creative student-designed merchandise at the historic Lyric Blacksburg theater. With films from over 20 different countries, she was able to showcase diverse storytelling. This dynamic project highlights Madeline’s dedication to elevating film festivals with engaging community partnerships and unforgettable cinematic experiences.
